The Haunted House originally had eight pieces of music, which played throughout your journey.

The Graveyard queue area was the first piece of music to be heard and was known as ‘Gloomy Wood; its real title is 'The Ghoulish Garden'. The queue then led you through the Graveyard and up the stairs into the house. As you stepped up into the entrance you were greeted with the second piece of music called ‘The Entrance Hall’. This piece of music played throughout the queue area inside the ride and in the ride station. However in the drawing room another piece of music played over the top of the entrance music, this was called ‘The Drawing Room’ affectionately known as the dolls house music. This also had an additional secondary piece of music that intertwined the 'Drawing Room' music. This piece was called ‘Emily Alton’ after the ghostly girl that would appear within the dolls house. This singing accompanied her apparition has she played with her cat in the model house.

The next change of music occurred when the rider entered Trommels Tunnel, this piece of music was called 'The Tunnel of Doom' and was played through until the rider came up against the large menacing eye of the giant it was here that the music had another change this time it changed to 'The Giants Lair' the car at this point would slow down and you would pass through the giants crushing fingers and accompanying lightening. The music again changed when the rider entered the eerie garden. This piece of music was called the ‘Ghoulish Garden’ and was a repeat of the music within the cemetery queue area. The beckoning undertaker signaled the change again; the pace picks up when you meet the lunatic loose in the garden and the car sped up and ‘The Final Chase’ music began.

The last piece of music occurred when the car pulled into the exit station This piece of music is called ‘The Escape' and is more up beat and triumphant, to give the rider a sense of accomplishment and bravery, after all they had of course survived the Haunted House.

This piece of footage replaces the Virtual Tour from the old Haunted House Site. Combination of photos and film footage.

Ghoulish Garden

This piece of music is played both inside and outside of the ride First it can be heard in Gloomy Wood and then in the Ghoulish Garden this is to add continuity to the ride and make the rider believe that they had left the confines of the house.

Originally it was believed that the inside music was different to that played outside, however the only difference known is that of the volume. Inside the sound is clearer due to the confined space/ acoustics'.

The Entrance Hall

This piece of music was very somber and intimidating Especially for the first time rider.
